With hints of vanilla, citrus, and chocolate, 1953 is aged in vintage American Oak barrels previously used to age premium bourbon, resulting in complex flavors and a distinctively refined finish. Our agave farms have been owned by one family for four generations, and our distillery has only changed hands once in over 135 years. And, these families today are led by women.
